Last Year Aaron attended the Smith Brothers Showcase on the recommendation of another Coach, and it was a good event. So this year, when the invitation email came, he wanted to go and show of his skills again.
The event was held at the same location as last year, the Smith Brothers baseball club in New Lowell, Ontario, and the players had to be there for 9:00 a.m. New Lowell is just over an hour drive from Toronto so the trip wasn't too bad being that early in the morning. Not a lot of traffic but the fog was a bit much in certain areas.
We made it to the club just at 9:00 a.m. and the parking lot was already full.
As usual, there were a lot of really good ball players showcasing their skills and talents.
